St Helena is fortunate to have an active and involved community of alumni, parents and friends who volunteer their efforts in support of the school through:
- first aid support at school events (Sports Carnivals)
- work in the library and reading support
- integration support
- involvement in the Music and Performing Arts programs
- Parents and Friends Association
- Chaplaincy
- School Council and its sub-committees
- sports coaching
- working bees
