Our Talented Students on Show

School Play is a key event in our Performing Arts Calendar aimed to challenge and enhance the drama experiences each year and includes students from Year 7 through to 12.

We have a very proud tradition of performances and plays. Every second Year, the Year 12 Theatre Studies Class are be involved in the stagecraft areas of the school play. Over the last few years we have done everything from , The Crucible, through to absurdist drama The Real Inspector Hound, Medea, the hilarious Noises Off and Steven Berkoff’s Metamorphosis. In 2016 our talented students performed William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with resounding success, and in 2017 they performed ‘Cloudstreet’, followed by Chalk Circle in 2018 with Wilde being 2019 Drama Play for the College, and finally ‘Dimboola’ was performed. 2020 has seen a strange year due to COVID19, and we were to perform Ruby Moon…maybe 2021 is the year for this performance.

Ensure you keep your eyes peeled. See ‘Information/Events’ page for more details.

College Production

The annual College Production brings together the talents of actors, dancers, singers, musicians, make-up artists, set designers, producers/directors, publicity managers, backstage crews, and sound and lighting experts from across the student body.

A major community event, the Musical fosters significant learning and enormous enjoyment for all involved. 2016 cast of Xanadu played to sell out audiences to great acclaim over the fortnight-long season, as was 2017 RENT Production, and 2018 and Schools Will Rock You was outstanding!
