For students in Years 7 to 10, our curriculum encompasses the Key Learning Areas and Capabilities outlined in the Victorian Curriculum. At the senior level, we offer a wide range of curriculum options, including over 30 VCE subjects, as well as VET courses and the VCE Vocational Major.
Curriculum helps shape the structure of our ‘mini schools’ by grouping student cohorts around their shared learning experiences.
Junior School – caters to Year 7 exclusively to help support the transition into a secondary school environment to maximise student learning.
Middle School – combines Year 8 and 9 to guide students through expanding subject choices, particularly with the introduction of electives at Year 9.
Senior School – encompasses all students who can access VCE-VM/VET pathways. While not all Year 10 students choose a higher study (undertaking one or more VCE subjects in Year 10), the majority of our Year 10 students do, immersing them in the world of VCE-VM/VET experienced by our Year 11 and 12s. This also enables the Pathways/Careers team and Year Level Managers to assist students in selecting appropriate study pathways to suit their futures.
